How we improved this design collective’s internal workflow

The Challenge:

The Five2Nine Collective, a design services provider, sought a short-term replacement for their Traffic Manager. They needed a reliable, resourceful, and brand-conscious team to manage client communications, prepare clear briefs for designers, and optimise internal processes cost-effectively without disrupting their high volume of work or delivery times. That’s when they found Bonsai Digital.

The Solution:

We assigned the Collective a Traffic Manager (TM) and a Process Optimiser (PO) who observed existing processes and aspects that affected speed, efficiency, and replicability. The TM and PO had the joint objective of keeping the Collective operating smoothly while simultaneously optimising internal workflows and client communication processes.

The Results:

Our TM learned the Collective’s processes and engaged in daily communications with their internal team and clients. The TM built positive relationships with their clients, improved their response times, and maintained a consistent and reliable presence. The PO created briefing templates and improved the Collective’s workflow management by developing optimised processes that prioritised transparency, accountability, and timeous feedback loops to ensure smoother delivery.
